Hardy perennials, shrubs and herbs grown in Northumberland – BE INSPIRED!
Now closed for the winter – we reopen on April 4, 2024
From us all here in Northumberland, welcome to Northern Ark Nursery! We’re based on the edge of Longhorsley, just off the A697. We reopen on April 4, 2024, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 11am-4pm
We specialise in hardy plants grown at the nursery – if they grow here, they’ll grow almost anywhere! In season, we also grow a large variety of unusual herbs. Some 95 per cent of plants are grown from cuttings taken from our own stock plants and from seed.
Welcome to Northern Ark Nursery – the home of hardy, home-grown peat-free plants
We are a small working nursery specialising in a choice and unusual range of truly hardy perennials, shrubs and herbs, all grown at our nursery in rural Northumberland.
We grow all our plants PEAT-FREE! At Northern Ark, we have only one other rule – to grow the plants that we love.
Welcome to Northern Ark Nursery – Visit us at plant shows and markets
We have regular stalls at markets throughout the region, where we sell seasonal plants and herbs. Come and say hello!
